Monday

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day. We got together at my moms house for some BBQ. Little Tori Lynn is talking up a storm now. She will repeat anything you tell her to. Little Katelynn is also growing!!! Jamie’s tummy is bigger and bigger everyday. I can’t wait to have 2 little ones running around. Bobby and Sam had prom so they were out of town but us girls had a nice time. Friday Mom, Jamie and I went to Sam’s house to take pictures of them before they went to prom. They both looked amazing! Sam had a gorgeous bright pink dress they went great with her hair and skin and Bobby of course looked great he does take after me…ha ha ha I have not heard from them but I know they had a great time.

Mother's Day

What A Day

It's almost over thank the Lord! The morning was very productive but the afternoon was spent looking for one piece of paper. Yes, one small very important piece of paper. I did deal with the problem so everything is OK but man I was worried for a moment. Now I'm about to fight the wonderful 5:00 traffic so I hope you all have a safe trip home and make sure you watch Dancing with the Stars. Go Ian and Joey!!

Softball Weekend

It is H.O.T. hot outside today!! We are in College Station for the Budweiser Softball Tournament. It is an annul tournament for Crush and many other teams around the state. It's kind of cool, we always stay in the same hotel and eat at the same places every year. This is one of my favorite tournaments of the season. We have only played one game today but we won 20 to 11. Our next game is in about 4 hours so we came back to the hotel for some rest. I'm sure it will be a long night for the team. Shannon is at home with the pups so I know they are having a ball. I'm so glad she likes to hang out with the dogs. I know she likes having her own space since she has moved home. I hope everyone is having a great weekend it is beautiful out side.

Bunko Fun

What a weekend! The weather was perfect not to hot and to cold just right. Friday I hung out with Miss Tori Lynn all day while her mom worked for a few hours and took care of some business. She was all over the place with the dogs in and out in and out she never stopped. She stopped just for a bet to watch some of the movie Charlottes Web but not long enough for me or the dogs. Let’s just say they slept really well that night.

Bunko night was a big hit!! Thanks to everyone who came we had such a good time. I don’t think next time I will have to beg anyone to come. Everyone is already asking when the next one will be. I’m so happy you all had a great time. I myself had a wonderful time and was so sleepy after everyone left I fell asleep talking to Shannon on the couch. I guess a good night of Bunko will do that to you!! I’m planning to have the next one in about a month I will let everyone know as soon as I set a date. Have a great day!

Waiting

I hate waiting!!! All I can think about is it a boy or a girl!!! I just wish Jamie would call!! I should not be mad because her appointment is in like 10min. but I want to know NOW!!!!

Happy Tuesday!

What a day, I’m doing statements and I hate it. I just ate Raising Cane’s for lunch and I love them they have the best chicken fingers ever. This weekend was fun. Friday I had lunch with Helen then went to the park with Kat and Tori. We brought the dogs and they had so much fun running around with Tori. I got on a swing for the first time in years and you would have thought I was 10! Kat was making fun of me but it was great. But let me tell you there was know way I was going to jump off like I use to do when I was a kid. Saturday Willie and I took Tyson and Roxi to the dog park. It just so happened to be the Saturday that the Boston Terriers meet up. There was like 20 Boston’s running everywhere. They were all so cute but all very different. Some where 15lb fully grown and others where 34lb full grown and no Roxi was not the biggest. After that we went to Mike’s house for a get together. It was fun having everyone together like we were kids. It’s crazy to me how we have a grown up so fast. Basketball and food sounds like we are 19 again.

Well, tomorrow is the big day for Steven and Jamie. They find out what the baby is around 9:00am. I’m so happy I can’t wait to buy a little brown bear or a purple butterfly after work. It’s killing me not knowing I can’t imagine how they feel. Work is calling I will post the big news tomorrow as soon as I find out.

Monday

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your family and friends. Willie and I spent Easter with his family on Sunday after church. We had a great time spending time together and eating lots of food. My family celebrated on Saturday at Granny's house in Beaumont, TX. Willie and I had a wedding on Saturday so we were not able to go but it all worked out because I got sick on Friday. I was in bed most of the weekend and would love to be in bed right now. I'm Back

I know I have not been keeping up with my blog the past few weeks but I have not had the time. We have had family in town and so that is where all my extra time has been going. I think they will all be back this weekend for Easter so that should be fun. Willie and I also have a wedding on Saturday we have got to go to. Even now as I think of what to type I really don't have a thing to say??? Crazy huh because I'm always talking!!! Sunday after church I did meet up with Jamie and Helen for some good old Cold Stone!!! That place is a gift from God!!! Speaking of God I hope you all take the time this week to reflect on each day and think about what was going on all those years ago so that we may be here today. I will try and get back in the swing of things and keep you up to date. Have a great week!

R.I.P. Mikey, I Miss You!

I still really can’t believe the thought of one of us kids being gone so soon. Last night I was watching TV when a commercial for a new movie came on. When I started to cry and laugh at the same time watching Ninja Turtles so many old memories came to mind. It feels like yesterday we were all kids hanging out in the back yard pool or playing video games. Mikey you will be truly missed in so many ways by so many people. While 22 years is not long enough on earth you did live like a Rock Star but not just any kind of crazy man. You were a crazy man that had a heart of gold and a family that no matter what would never give up on you. You were truly blessed to have them as they were to have you. Even though the next few days will be full of tears I know you are in good hands looking down on us.

God gives and God takes away on his terms. When you are called to his alter we need not ask why. We must know that God is always in control and he has our divine plan set for us the day he delivers us to our parents. Even though the timing seems off to us here on earth we must know Mikey is right were God needs him to be.

Traffic

I just like to take this time to thank everyone who is off work or going in late this week to work. Traffic with out you has been wonderful!!! Feel free never to go back to work!! You have made my drive to work each morning calm and relaxed and at a good speed rather than a slow painful crawl. I Love Spring Break!!!

Tuesday

What a day, work was crazy this morning. Now I am eating lunch with the girls and talking about girl stuff. Today is Tyson's first day home alone! I am so worried about him I can't wait to get off and go home. I know Roxi is going crazy wanting him out of the kennel to play. I plan on taken them to the park after work just so they can run around. Willie is going to try and come home at lunch a few days a week to take him out for 10 or 15 minutes. Other than that nothing much going on just ready for the weekend. Sunday Willie and I went to Cassy and Jason's house for dinner. We had to plan a softball craw fish party we are having this weekend. It should be fun the whole team and their family's will be there. I guess I need to finish eating have a great Tuesday.

Sorry for the last post, Jamie turned 26 on Saturday. That makes me old, Great! We all went to Salt Grass for Dinner around 5:00 on Saturday night. I think she had a good time. The food was great but the cake was the best!!! I Love Cold Stone!!!

Introducing the newest member of the Whittington family.....nameless! He is a 5 week old baby Boxer. I got him for Willie for Valentine's Day and because this month Willie and I celebrate 10 LONG years together. Thursday night Kat, mom Tori and I went to see Elmo Live!!! Kat had gotten front row seats for the 4 of us. We had so much fun every character hugged her. She was so happy dancing around and eating cotton candy. Here are a few pictures.

Thursday

The weekend is here!!! I don’t really have anything to do but I’m happy as long as I don’t have to fight an hours worth of traffic first thing in the morning. Don’t mean to complain but traffic this week sucked!! I know I should be happy some people would love just to have a car to fight traffic in or a job to go to everyday….no more complaining! Work was pretty good this week no big drama which is always good. I may go to College Station on Saturday to see Molly and Shannon but other than that I think I will be scrap booking. I need to start Jamie’s pregnancy book because she is now 3 month along. Crazy huh! I feel like she just told me yesterday. I also have to do something’s for Cassy’s book she is in the middle of her 3rd month. Babies, babies, babies September is going to be crazy!! Have a great weekend everyone!

Monday

I hate Monday!!!! I was 15 minutes late because of a 4 car pile up in JV and I am so sleepy I can barely work. For the Super Bowl we went to Mike and Michelle’s for the 5 year in a row. Everyone was there so we had so much fun catching up with everyone. The game was on 3 different TV’s and there was enough food for and army. I ate and drank enough for 3 people! I did win a football quarter on the square game. That made me happy it was $50.00 then I was sad because Willie gambled away all but $20….what a man! Saturday was the first tournament of the softball season and let’s just say they could have done better. It was fun hanging out with all the ladies and talking about everything we have been doing. Friday was BUNKO!!!! Yes, I was the big winner!!!! I won 12 out of 18 games and walked away with $50.00 cash!!! I had a great time and can’t wait for next month. Shannon came with me this time because we needed and sub and I think she really had fun herself. I do know one thing the food was wonderful. Everyone brought something so we had so much to choose from it was a bet much.
Well, I need to get back to work so have a good Monday.

Weekend

YES!!! The weekend is here!!! I’m so excited because I start Bunko this Friday night for the first time. I’m kind of nerves I hope they all like me. Shannon gets to come this time because we need a sub so I feel better knowing she will be there. I hope I have beginners luck!! He He Then Saturday starts the wonderful season of Team Crush Softball…man I’m happy, NOT!!! Friday night I get to fold all the team shirts so Willie looks good when he hands them out. It is true behind every good man is a woman. I will let you know how we do next week. Have a great weekend!!

Weekend Fun

Lets just say the Weekend did not start out the way we all hoped. The Sweet Willie Warm-up was a rain out!!! Willie was up set but he has rescheduled for next month. Here are a few pictures of the rain out!!!!

After church on Sunday I went to lunch with Jamie, Steven, mom and Tori. This is a picture of baby Tori after Steven and my mom had feed her a plate full of food.

I’m and aunt again!!!!! Jamie and Steven are expecting their first little one September 18, 2007. The family is so excited for the both of them. The funny thing is her due date is Miss Tori Lynn’s Birthday, how funny is that! I wish you all could see me typing this post because I am smiling from ear to ear. I am so happy for my little sis!!! Last night I was in bed just about to sleep and the phone rang. It was Jamie telling me she had something to show me. I told her I was in bed then I felt bad so I told her to stop by. I thought it was another new car because Jamie always comes to the house right after she gets a new car but will not tell me what it is until she gets here. Only this time I open the door to run out into the rain to get in the car and Jamie and Steven were standing at the front door. When I said where is the car she smiled and said what car? Then I said OMG YOUR PREGNANT!!!! She pulled out the ultra sound picture and I can already tell the baby looks like ME. he he Well I know I will be posting more on this topic so I will let you all know as soon as I hear more baby news. OMG

Most of you know that 90210 is and will forever be my favorite TV show of all time. I am almost done watching the first season and just checked on when the second season hits stores. OHG........ It will not be out until May!!!!! That makes me sick, I guess I will just have to watch the first season over!

Prison Break started last night and it was another great episode. You never know what is going to happen on this show. The only thing you are almost always guaranteed to see every episode is someone being killed or murdered. Every show keeps you on the edge of your seat like a good movie.

Today is my little babies 4th birthday!!! Happy Birthday Roxi!!!!

Tuesday

What is up with the weather??? I thought I was going to get to stay home today!! I have not been posting this past week because work has been crazy. Now that Val is back at work things should calm down. On top of work Willie and I have had one birthday dinner after another. I like birthday cake but 4 days in a row….no thanks! It has been nice coming home for dinner and not going out.

Most of you know my good friend Cassy is expecting her first child. She went to her first doctor’s appointment Monday and they told her she was 6 weeks and 1day pregnant. Her due date is 9/9/2007. They also said the baby was the size of a grain of rice. Man that is small!!! I need a name to call the baby until we find out if it’s a boy or girl. Any Suggestions

Back to work for me!!! Today was my first day back since 12/21/2006 so I has a hard time getting up. Traffic was no problem today but Wednesday I think it will be horrible. I think everyone goes back to work and school Wednesday. Well I have a desk full of stuff to take care of so I will post more later in the week.

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to all my friends and family for a wonderful birthday. I got some really cool stuff!!! Money, candles, business card holder, gift cards and scrapbook stuff!! This weekend I get to put together my scrapbook room!! I am so happy about that. I also got 2 great DVD sets, 20 years with Oprah and the first season of 90210!!!! Yes, I have died and go to heaven!!! I can’t wait for my Christmas break only 2 more days of work until Jan. and I know what I will be doing….scraping and watching my DVD’s. Thanks again for all the great gifts and wonderful phone calls, e-mails, cards and post on the internet. I love you all!!

Hump Day

I wish today was Thursday!!!! I'm ready for this week to be over. Work has been crazy the past few weeks but Tuesday we had our Christmas lunch at Papas. We had a great time but we all ate way too much food. I can’t believe 2006 is almost over. Where did the year go? I hate watching TV this time of year because every channel has a best of 2006 show on. They all have the same people and stories just in different order. Well, I need to do some work for my aunt Kay she just called so I hope everyone as great Hump Day.

Happy Tuesday

Hope everyone had a great few days off of work!!! Thanksgiving was ok for Willie and I we were at Wendy's house because my family was out of town. They do things just a bit different then we do things at my mom’s house. The food was great but I was sick so I spent most of the day on the sofa and Willie was outside with the boys. Thanksgiving was weird because all my family was in different places this year but Christmas should be fun.

I was sick most of the weekend so Friday Willie and his brother Brad went to the car show to see another one of Willie’s favorite girls Kat Von D from Miami Inc. Here are a few pictures!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Week

I am so happy we only work 2 days this week. Wednesday I think I am going to put up the Christmas tree just to get it over with. Well, I hope everyone had a great weekend. Friday I had a few girls over for scrap booking and then Saturday I was at the ball park for like 12 or 13 hours. It was beautiful all day but after it got dark it was freezing cold!!! The team did good and Cassy and I had fun hanging out so it was not that bad. Sunday was church then some shopping and lunch with the family. I love Christmas decorations they make me so happy. Jamie on the other hand hates them so shopping was crazy. She spends half the time telling me to put stuff back and the other half laughing at me. I don’t know why I still shop with that girl!!! Ha Ha Ha
Since I only work 2 days this week I have a lot to do so just in case I don’t post again before Thanksgiving I hope everyone has a great time.

What a Weekend

I must say I have great friends. Thanks to everyone who came over this weekend for the Pampered chef and Scrap Book Party. I had so much fun having everyone over. It's only Tuesday but I feel like it should be Friday. Not only did I have 2 party's this weekend at my house I had a baby shower and birthday party out of town. Then Sunday afternoon my family talked me into going gambling right over the boarder. So, I was busy and I lost $73 dollars!!!! Other than the $75 dollars I had a wonderful weekend. Happy Tuesday!!!
