Jordan's First Pool Day

Today Jordan and I went to visit baby Alyssa for some play time. Jordan looks so big compared to sweet little Alyssa.

5K Walk It

Today I did something I never thought I would be able to do. I walked in my first 5K!!! After about 2 months of training today was the big day. I could barely sleep last night I was so nerves I would not be able to finish. While it was a challenge I did finish with a smile. Big thanks goes out to my family who all put on their sneakers in support. Now had I have done one I can't wait for the next.

Wedding Shower Day

1st Mother's Day

Today was a day I've felt for year would forever only be about my mom. While I love her and wish her a very happy mother's day. Today for the first time I got to feel that special feeling that only your child can give you. When he handed me a card with wet corners from being in his mouth I wanted to cry. My first Mother's Day is something I will never forget. I look forward to that hand made gift that he will make in art class for me one day.

Cold

Where is this cold weather coming from? Yesterday was cool but today is get the coat back out weather. A coat in Houston in May!! This is pool time not more winter time. Willie thinks the world is ending like always. I don't know what I think but I know it's not the end of the world. I guess a cold snap is better then what is going on in other states. I'll take cold over tornados!
