Enough

I have had enough!!! Most of you know I love and adore my dogs!!! With that said you then must know that I want Michael Vick slowly beaten and then drowned or hung just like he did to all those innocent dogs! Sorry, I know it sounds crazy but he did this many times to dogs that could not defend themselves. I put harming a dog right up there with harming a child. Yes, I know a child is a child and a dog is a dog but they are both defenseless. With all the great things I hear some people say about Vick. I must say he must not be that great of a MAN if he won’t pick on another MAN his own size. Vick only chooses to pick on dogs!!! Today when I opened up Yahoo and saw that Stephon Marbury of the New York Knicks defended Vick, calling dogfighting a SPORT and comparing it to HUNTING!!!! I got sick to my stomach. Marbury also said that we should not build Vick up then break him down. I think Marbury is crazy himself. Vick is a great football player who makes millions!!! We are not breaking him down he did this to himself!! Vick throw millions of dollars away for dogfighting!! Last but not least I would love to be a fly on the wall in the New York Knicks office when they talk to Marbury about why he open his big month and got their franchise involved in such a high profiled case.

Sorry for all the ranting! I tried to keep it all in but I can only stay quiet for so long!!!

Katelynn

Hummer

I know most of you already know but I did get a new car this weekend. I am the proud owner of a beautiful white HUMMER!!! I can't believe it's mine! I LOVE IT!!! I took a picture with my camera phone but it still has not came to my e-mail box. I will try and take a few more pictures tonight. I can't wait to show everyone. All this rain is crazy but I can make it through almost anything now that I have a HUMMER!!! :)

Katelynn Update: Jamie and Katelynn are both doing wonderful. Jamie should be coming home tonight if not first thing Friday. I know she will be happy to be out of that hospital bed. Katelynn will be in a few more days but home before be know it. Oh ya, Steven is doing fine he is going to be a great dad.

Welcome Katelynn

Jamie and Steven are now the proud parents of Katelynn Savannah Kubeczka. She was born about 6:40pm Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Katelynn is 4.2lb and 16.4in she is very health and will be home soon. Since she is small they are having her breath oxygen that is why she has a tube on her nose. Jamie and Steven were both great Tuesday. Steven was right there for Jamie the whole time and was great with Katelynn. Jamie made giving birth look easy!!! She did a Great Job!!! I can't wait for them to come home. I will post more pics as soon as I get them.

Home Sweet Home

Just to let everyone know mom is home from the hospital. Kathleen brought her home around noon Sunday and she is doing better everyday. She is off this week so she can rest and get better. She did a great job with the surgery and was the perfect patient. Thanks for all the prayers and for everyone who called or visited I know she is very thankful.

Back to work :( for me. I love my job but I still would love to sleep in everyday and shop all afternoon for a living... he he I must say it is absolutely beautiful out side today, make it a good one.

8:45am

I need sleep!!! Lets just say that this chair does not make a good bed. Other than that everything is cool. And I do mean cool, mom has it like 68 degrees in this room. She just had her breakfast of chicken broth and apple juice and has just fell back asleep. She is having trouble with her calcium so they gave her medication last night and this morning. Because of this she will have to stay until Sunday or maybe even Monday. The breathing doctor just left and he said she is breathing just fine she just has to keep breathing into this little tube that measures how much air she is taking in and breathing out. I will post and update later today have a great Saturday.

Almost 1:00am

This Sucks!!! It's almost 1:00am and mom is sound asleep "snoring" and I'm seating here checking out other peoples blogs. I got to the hospital about 10:00am this morning and moms surgery was scheduled for 11:00am. They did not come get her for pre-op until 12:00pm then did not get going with the surgery until about 1:00pm. The surgery lasted about 2 hours then she was in recovery for about 2 1/2 hours. After everyone went home Jamie and I were hungry so we left mom here sleeping and we went and took the rail to Mid Town for dinner. It was my first time on the rail. It was fun just to get out of the hospital for a bit. I really wish I could fall asleep but this place makes me sick. The nurse came in just now and handed me a blanket. I said thanks but I don't think I can use it. I wounder if they really washed it after every person? Hospitals are not my cup of tea. The nurse is very nice she takes her time and always ask if I have any questions. The doctor came in about an hour ago and said she was doing fine. He thinks she should be able to go home tomorrow. I hope so because I can't handle 2 nights up here. Well I don't really have anything else to say so I think I'm going to keep checking out other peoples blogs. I don't think I will sleep tonight but I will try.

Thursday

In case you did not know its August!!!! What the heck happened to June and July??? I know I have been busy this summer but I feel like I have missed the season completely. I was going to go out of town this weekend but since moms surgery has been moved back until tomorrow I think I’m going to have to stay in town. Please keep her and our family in your prayers. I hate hospitals!! I don’t like to eat or even breathe in them. When I walk down the hall I only look straight ahead or at the floor. Just thinking about the smell makes me sick! Mom better make a speedy recovery because I don’t know how long I can last in a hospital with no food.

I guess I need to get some work done today since it is Thursday I need to close out the week here. I hope everyone has a great weekend maybe it wont rain but don’t count on it.

We Will Miss You

Marvin Zindler. For nearly two generations, he's been part of Houston, never farther away than a television set. Marvin Zindler passed away Sunday after a courageous battle with cancer. He would have been 86 this August. I never met the man but grow up watching him nightly. Who will ever forget all the restaurant report's of SLIM IN THE ICE MACHINE!! Or what about his sign offs, Have good golf good fishing or whatever make you Happy. And of course MARVIN ZINDLER, EYEWITNESS NEWS!!!

New Coach

Willie was nice enough to buy me a Coach purse Monday but it was a tote. I like my bags to go on my shoulder most days. Jamie and I went to the mall Tuesday and looked at every purse they had plus the new stuff that hit stores Wednesday. I fell in love with this bag after looking for like 30 minutes. Sorry, I take my time looking at every little thing. Thanks Willie I love my new purse.

Coach

Yes, I now own a Coach purse!!!!! I know most if not all of my friends own one or more of these bags but I could never let myself spend that kind of money on a purse. Willie on the other hand did!!! My husband Willie came home last night with one big surprise for me and man was I happy. I love it, it's big and beautiful.

What a Weekend!!!

I must say I am Baby Showered Out!!! This weekend was all about the babies, Katelynn and Coby to be exact. Saturday was Jamie’s baby shower and man it was great. Thanks to everyone who helped set up and clean up and of course thanks to all who helped with MONEY!! I know Jamie was very excited with how wonderful everything turned out. After the shower I went back to her house to check out all the gifts and I must say Katelynn is one luck little lady. I now know Jamie is ready to be a mommy. Sunday was Cassy’s baby shower and I know she was excited. This shower was supposed to be a fun small friend’s shower and it was far more than that. Her friends really showed some love to her and baby Coby. She got much much more than she thought she would have being just a small group of girlfriends. I know she had a wonderful time. Thanks to everyone who helped me make this weekend a hit for both Cassy and Jamie.

I Hate It Here

OK, I know softball does not sound fun to most of you but I must say most of the time I have a great time. But this time I can't wait to get home. Last night we got here about 7:00pm and by 8:00 we were in the middle of a T-Storm!! It rained and rained and guess what rained all night. We were to have our first game at 10:00 but when we got out there at 9:00 everything was pushed back 4 hours. This means we did not have our first game until 2:30pm. So after a few hours of hanging out at the hotel we went to the mall and then back to the ball park to find.......CRICKETS!!!!! I mean a few MILLION CRICKETS!!! They were everywhere all on the buildings and in the bathroom under the bleachers and in the grass. They have a big problem down here it's like a scary movie!!! Since I know you guys will not believe me I'm going to post a few picture later. After the game we went to Out Back for lunch and of course that was great! Now most of the guys are taking naps or watching TV behind me. I hope tonight is better we have a 9:00pm game. If the crickets eat me just know I love you all!! ha ha Have a great Saturday.

The Weekend Is Here

Back To Work

After a long weekend it's back to work for me. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I spent most of it scrap booking and shopping with my mom and brother. The rain kept me inside most of my time off but I did get to the movies. Jamie, Steven, Will and I went and saw License to Wed with Robin Williams and Mandy Moore. It was very funny Robin Williams is to much. He is always so funny. Saturday I went with Cassy and her mom to Target and while we were in the back of the store the lights went out!!! If you really know me you know I'm not a fan of the dark and man was it dark in there. The lights came back on in about 5 seconds but went out like 4 times in a row because of the weather. As I look out side now it is beautiful..... because we are at work. Have a great Monday!

July 4th

I hope you all have a happy and safe July 4th with family and friends. Willie and I will be having BBQ with a few friends hoping it does not rain all day. We are both so sick of going home after work and just watching TV because it's raining cats and dogs every afternoon. Just to update everyone on Roxi she is doing better and will be back up to full speed in a few days. Thanks for all the calls to check on her I really appreciate them all. I just want to tell Tammy and Anna thanks again for rushing to the house and bringing her to the vet for me on such short notice. Last night Roxi just hung out on the coach it was so sad I know she was in some pain but this morning she seemed to be walking a little better. Lets just say I can't wait to get home to her. Thank goodness I'm off until Monday!

Sick Little Roxi

What a Day!!! My Roxi girl had to be rushed to the vet today because she was sick. Sunday she was acting sick and moving very slow. The vet was closed and I did not think it was series enough to go to the emergency vet so I called our vet this morning. She was booked but said she would see her if I could get her there. Thank goodness for Tammy and Anna because they ran to the house picked her up and took her for me. What came next I still can't believe. The vet said she was having a false pregnancy!!!! This means she has made her body think she was going to have babies. I know it's crazy but there is more. Her breast mike had started to come in and she had a lump on her side from a milk gland that got infective. She had to have surgery to help fix everything asap. I picked her up about 5:00pm today and she seems to be in a small amount of pain but she is just laying on the coach. Tyson is dieing to know what is going on with her. He just wants to get close to her I think he knows something is wrong. I hope she will be better soon my little baby can't even really walk or jump on the coach.

Happy Tuesday

The work week is in full swing and I can't wait for the weekend! Willie and I have been so busy the last few weeks I have not had time to just hang out at home. This week we put up a pool in the back yard for me to hang out in and next week the deck will be put in. I can't wait to be able to hang out in the back yard. Willie and Team Crush are the number 2 C team in the state of Texas so Willie is very happy!! Tyson weights in at about 40lb and Roxi is slimming down. I think because Tyson is a PIG!! Well I myself have been scrap booking and planning the next Bunko night for the girls. The family is good Bobby and Sam came over and helped Willie and I with the pool. Kat and Mark move on Friday and Jamie and Steven are just waiting on Katelynn. I'm headed out for lunch with a few friends so have a great week.
